A great site on the outskirts of Buxton with excellent facilities. Good walking territory and plenty to see/do in the local area. A good (lengthy) walk into town and care needed if returning at night.
Buxton and the Peak are fabulous. The site which has a stunning location in an old quarry has recently been renovated. Highly recommended. One if the best Book Shops in England is only a couple of miles away
Very nice site, not too big. Super new toilet block with hot hot showers (sometimes hot doesn't always happen at some places). Site is in a disused quarry which looked lovely lit up at night. Great walks for dogs. Will definitely return.
Great site, nicely kept with brand new facilities. Beware you will have virtually no phone signal and Mr 4G is a distant memory. If that's important to you review your life
Beautifully situated. Lovely new toilet & shower block. A very tidy well kept site. One annoyance; some, not all, dog owners taking their pets to poo on the nearest grass (often the divider between caravans) It was mostly picked up but with residue left behind. Not idea for families who's children may play there A polite notice required.
