Stayed here for the weekend in a campervanThe site has easy access, just off a main road but noise was not really a problem.The views are amazing ,the toilet block is accessed by a code and there is under floor heating which made it lovely and warm. It has a modern shower and toilet block which was spotless,and a under cover washing up area just out side. The pub is very inviting and warm it sells good ales and a array of gins.We had two meals here which were lovely served by very polite staff all in all we would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to visit, cosy and warm welcome. Staff are wonderful and very friendly. Food is outstanding. Myself, family and friends have been here a number of times and every visit has been perfect. Well done Bridgette.
We loved our lunch here. Such a beautiful and historic old pub. Prices are fair. Not gourmet food but good honest pub grub.
very warm welcome and helpful if your looking to walk the surrounding area. Good quality food served at the pub. Me and my partner stayed for one night on the campsite to the rear, very clean campsite and facilities, only issue if placed in the pitch to the offside of the hook up you will require at least an 8m hook up cable to gain power as the points are shared. The tap on our pitch did not work but no problem as the neighbouring pitch worked fine. Amazing views and very little noise if at all from the road, would definitely advise a visit and I will be returning in future.
