Proper pub, really cosy, log fire, good choice of beers, good food menu, well worth a visit.

Great, welcoming, fab place. Food proper, service next to none, facilities clean , showers hot and pull cord heater to keep you warm. Great New Years Eve. Oh and the site is the same price all year round. What a fantastic find. Thank you x
We arrived 3 minutes before food stopped being served, we had a great meal with our two dirty dogs.Very nice pub great reception, made to feel welcome.Thanks
Very friendly, little place so could feel very crowded. Had a 'triple tray' of the ales, which is 3 third pints, which means I didn't have to choose from the choice of hand pump ales. Food looked good but all tables were reserved, probably best to book first if you are thinking of eating.
