Good place to start the monsal trail.
Great place to park for the Monsal Trail - this is right at the Western end, just a short ride from the start of the trail. It cost us 4.50 to park all day (Aug 2018) but beware - the machine only takes card - NO CASH! It's not huge, but we got parked easily enough, might be busy on a really nice day.
The ticket machine wasn't working for me and it's car only for some strange reason it didn't accept it so I did have to park here without payment (sorry) but I did try 3 times, the place is located next to a path that will take you miles and miles it's a brilliant place to go and walk the length just be prepared as when you start the walk it's a distance till you hit a shop so fluids are a must if it's a hot day. Really nice place though very enjoyable.
Perfect access to the Monsal Trail and Chee Dale, not many spaces to park but I chose a busy day. Pay and Display is now card only, no cash.
