Brilliant place for walking the dogs and going for a walk with the family. Plenty of trails and nature

Goyt valley is well worth a visit. If you like walking you have plenty to choose from around here and the scenery is stunning. The reservoir was very low on our visit. Must visit again.
Fantastic walk around the reservoirs. Very beautiful countryside and close enough to Buxton and Chapel-le-Firth for a meal afterwards
Great place for a walk or ride either on push bike or motorcycle.....just be careful of others walking along the road......the small single track road is picturesque......off the single track road there are benches and footpaths to some great little walks....it's not too far from the once famous cat and fiddle pub with is now regrettably closed.....a couple of my personal favourite spots is the seating area near the stone bridge...and the water fall.....go see if you can find your favourite spot.
