Bloody fantastic. A wonderful tavern that seamlessly modern touches (particularly the beer) with a traditional and historical atmosphere. 32 taps across the Tap House and adjacent Cellar Bar. Very progressive and high quality list, which is saying something given the very high standard of beer in the broader area. Food was a bit pedestrian compared to the beers but it won't disappoint.

Great tap house, awesome beers, with a real buzz about it even on a dreary Sunday afternoon. The nachos and chocolate brownie went down a treat too!If you love craft beer and are in the area you have to pay this place a visit
This place is obviously a winner as it is usually busy. However the Buxton spa was not available nor Moor top. What was on offer was a Large selection of niche beers @ 6 , 7% strength and more. The knowledgeable barman told me they are aiming at a certain market. By which I understand he meant 'young and trendy'.Cost for 2 burgers and a couple of beers: 32 - hmmm
I already knew that the beer would be excellent but as a place to go it was very pleasant. Nice and helpful staff. Just went for a drink, so can't comment on the food.
