Good food, medium to smaller plates. Fresh... cosy. Good cakes. Friendly service. Food can be slow coming. Good position opposite Opera House.
Excellent modern tasty food with traditional "tea room" table service, in an old fashioned, historic building that befits Buxton and its heritage. Good but slightly limited menu. Well worth a visit for refreshments.
We used to love going here as a treat in the holidays for the afternoon tea. The cafe itself is still charming and I love the tea pots round the walls. However, the afternoon tea itself is no longer as special and the price is too much for what you get.
