We went to see Aquaman at the cinema, it was a great film, however the seats are so uncomfortable that it can be difficult to focus on the screen. The staff were polite and courteous but after the film we felt like the staff were rushing people to leave. The end credits hadn't fully finished and yet they were locking the doors and getting ready to leave! It's got the potential to be a great venue if the seating is improved and customers are given a little more time to leave.
What a little gem. I've just moved to Buxton, so this was my first visit to the cinema. What an asset to the town. Great little venue, that's had some thought put into it. Staff were friendly and welcoming which made for an enjoyable experience in nice surroundings.
Wonderful touristic spot in Buxton. It is s must-see if you are around town for the first time. There's always something going on, concerts, events, exhibitions...
Amazing to have such a lovely, intimate little cinema in our town. Comfy seats, great popcorn, friendly staff and volunteers, and very well run. An absolute joy. xx
Always good films or live replays. Comfortable seating and reasonable prices. Worth a visit including gardens and theatre.
